County to conduct property auction
Alameda County will hold a tax-defaulted property auction through the Internet today until Tuesday.Bid4Assets.com will conduct the auction for the county, which is offering 170 properties for sale, with minimum bids starting as low as $325. No properties in the auction have a reserve price.
Bidding will start at 8:30 a.m. today and close at different times March 18. A deposit of $5,000 - with a $15 processing fee - is required in order to bid on the properties.
People interested in the sale can preview the auctions at www.bid4assets.com/alameda. Bidders who are unable to bid online can contact Bid4Assets toll-free at 1-877-4ASSETS to request an off-line bid form or to bid.
